The Auxiliary Baseball Ground at Kobe Sports Park
At Kobe Sports Park there are the main baseball stadium, home of the Orix Buffaloes, and the sub-baseball stadium.
The auxiliary stadium was built when Orix Baseball Club moved to Kobe from Osaka in 1991. Since then the Orix Bluewave, renamed to the Buffaloes in 2005, used this facility as the home to their farm team of Western League.
After the Bluewave of WL moved their home again to Ajisai Stadium Kita-Kobe in 2000, they have been using Sub-Stadium mainly as their training site.
Usually Orix host a few official Western League games every season. They also allow the stadium to be used for amateur games and the Shikoku Island League, the independent baseball league of Shikoku Island District.
There are no lighting tower and the capacity is said to be only 1,000. So facilities can not be enough for professional baseball games.
