Annual Summer Night Game at Waterfront
Sodegaura City is located at west central coast of Boso Peninsula of Chiba Prefecture, bordered by Tokyo Bay by the west.
Beyond the outfield bleachers of Sodegaura Municipal Stadium, you can see the connection road to Tokyo Bay Aqua-Line, a toll expressway which is a unique combination of 4.4 km bridge and 9.6 km tunnel across Tokyo Bay.
So, it would take less than 30 minutes to drive to Sodegaura from Kawasaki, the city on the opposite side of Tokyo Bay. You can also get there by one and a quarter hours JR train trip from Tokyo Station.
The stadium is usually used for amateur baseball games. Eastern League regularly host one night game in every mid summer at this stadium.
