At The Site of Lotte Chocolate Factory
From 150 mph Shinkansen Express Train, you can find a poor ballpark next to Lotte chocolate and chewing gum factory which is owned by Marines' parent company.
There are only a few bench seats at both sides of the field and no seats behind the backstop. However, handreds of Lotte fans always come here on game days, even though some people have to stand to see Marines game. All those games are free of charge.
The advantage of this ballpark is that you can get so close to players. Especially at the third base side, pitching practice can be seen just beside the bullpen.
It's disappointing that there is no concession stand, although Lotte is one of the biggest confectionary companies in Japan. There are only a few vending machines at the site.
